Usually fitted into radios for remote testing or in bomber installations etc. Very useful for purpose-made rigid head set socket installations in warbirds instead of sockets 10H/2206, which are getting very scarce now and also are prone for the wiring to come loose inside. All of these sockets have some storage corrosion which can easily be removed, despite being wrapped in so-called tropical (i.e. waterproof) packing. We will try and replace the locking ring as we do have a number of loose good rings in stock (no extra charge).
